Privacy

Stride is run by Stride LLC. This page says, in plain words, what we collect and why. Questions: support@usestride.app.

Health data

• With your permission, Stride reads active energy (active calories) and workouts from Apple Health on iPhone and Apple Watch, or from Health Connect on Android.
• We only read. Stride never writes to Apple Health or Health Connect.
• We use this data for one thing: to fill your meter, track your goals and streaks, and pay rewards.
• We never sell health data, never use it for advertising, and never share it with brands, sponsors, employers or insurers. A sponsor of a challenge only learns how many people finished it, never who or how much they moved.
• Friends and crews see a status word ("goal done", "still moving", "rest day"), never your numbers.
• You can turn off access at any time in the Health app or in Health Connect. Stride stops reading at once.

Account data

• Email address and a password (stored hashed), your daily goal, claim mode and settings.
• Reward history: your drops and the $STRIDE each one paid.
• Your self-custody wallet's public address, where your $STRIDE rewards arrive. Your recovery words stay on your device; we never see them.

What we do not collect

• No location, no contacts, no photos, no microphone, no camera.
• No advertising trackers on this website or in the apps.

Who processes data for us

Hosting and email providers that store data on our behalf under contract. They may not use it for anything else.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your data while your account is open. Delete your account inside the app (Settings › Account), or email us, and we erase your account and health data within 30 days. Records of rewards we are required to keep by law are kept only as long as the law requires.

Children

You must be 18 or older to claim rewards. Stride is not for children.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at support@usestride.app. We reply within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we tell you in the app before it takes effect.
